About Me
I am a seasoned entrepreneur and collaborator with a strong focus at the intersection of innovation, education, and entrepreneurship. With over 15 years of experience in the creative industries, particularly the fashion and tech sectors, I’m an active contributor in the startup ecosystem in both the USA and Europe.
As a 3x startup founder and a mentor for over 150 startups globally, I bring an empathetic perspective to the table. I have collaborated with 9 accelerators across Europe and have been instrumental in driving success for many founders and support organizations. My expertise in building and supporting ventures enables me to be more effective as a bridge between founders and support organizations.

Originally from the Washington, DC area, I moved to New York City for university and to start my career. After 10 years of living in NYC, I booked a one-way flight to Spain and relocated my life to Europe, so I could open up my mind to new places and cultures. Since 2015, I have lived and worked in Spain, Norway and Germany. Although primarily based in Europe, I continue to stay involved in the USA, and try to be a bridge between the USA and Europe. I think both places can learn a lot from each other.

I received my Bachelor’s of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. I also studied Architecture in Copenhagen through the DIS Program. While Industrial Design can be applied broadly, my focus has been in the areas of Design Thinking, Experience Design, Service Design, Human-Centered Design, Business Design, Design Management, and Strategic Design. A major learning that I always embrace is the importance and impact of effective communication with different types of stakeholders.

I have been a 3x founder, most notably as Co-Founder & Managing Director of Spain’s first fashion tech accelerator. I’ve since worked with 9 accelerators/incubators, in various capacities, in Germany, Spain, UK, Turkey, and Norway. In addition, independently or within a cohort, I have mentored and consulted with over 150 startups in the USA, Europe and Asia. For the past several years I’ve been a guest lecturer at various business/design schools, and a speaker on topics including but not limited to: the future of work, fashion/retail tech, and cultivating effective innovation ecosystems.

My expertise is primarily in the area of design thinking and strategic design — bridging the gap between innovation and business. I have a strong background in product, entrepreneurship, and the future of work. Through 15 years of working in the fashion/retail industry in NYC and Europe, I have established a considerable expertise within this industry. I am specifically engaged with how technology and innovation will transform this industry. As someone who has direct experience in building businesses, bringing products to market, cultivating support ecosystems, and collaborating with corporations and governments, I try to be an empathetic bridge between each stakeholder. As an American based in Europe, I also try to be a bridge between these two continents.

I love to travel. This is what you can find me doing in my free time. I have traveled to 40 countries, and lived in 9 cities in 6 countries. I love to connect with the local culture — including its food, wine, art, architecture, and of course, coffee.
